Johnathan Simon, from Official Google Webmaster Central Blog, indicated that you can now include different Content types in your sitemaps. So now you can include images and videos in one sitemap.

SEO Tip No. 4 - Hyphen vs Underscore

If you are going to break your domain name via a hyphen/dash or an underscore, or your clean urls, I would suggest using hyphens. Use hyphens for your image file names to, it works!



SEO Tip No. 3 - Clean URLs

Make sure that your website uses clean urls. ie the urls should give an indication of what the page is about. Good for users



SEO Tip No. 2 - Domain Name

Make sure you include keywords that you would like to rank for, in your domain name! eg. www.strategic-online-marketing.co.za
